Eva de Vries (1995) started playing the violin at the age of 7. When she was 12 she was admitted at the School for Young Talent of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. She is still advancing her studies there, being guided by professors Peter Brunt and Philippe Graffin and attending master classes and summer courses. In 2009 she participated at the Peter de Grote Festival in Groningen, and in 2012 the Musica Mundi Festival in Belgium, where she also played in the Musica Mundi Orchestra. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 she participated in the MusicAlp Festival in Tignes (France). She has played in professional orchestras such as the Metropole Orchestra and the The Hague Philharmonic. Eva de Vries has won prizes at: the Prinses Christina Concours competition (2012), the Davind van Wely Competition (2013) and the International Violin competition “Queen Sophie Charlotte” in Mirow (Germany, 2014 and 2015).
